The Prola Beauty or Red Flasher (''Panacea prola'') is a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found from Costa Rica〔(Parque Nacional Sangay (Ecuador) : Panacea-prola Doubleday 1848 )〕 to southern Brazil, but is most common in the foothills of the eastern Peruvian Andes.〔(Butterflies of Amazonia - Panacea prola )〕 The wingspan is 65–75 mm.
